"From Toes To Fingers" is a writing contest open to all participants in our annual National Tap Seminar. The winner of the 2001 contest is the grades 9-12 category is Christina Miller from Conifer, CO.

No scholarships were awarded in the other categories. This year's winning work earn its author hundreds of dollars in scholarships for the 2002 National Tap Seminar. Planning to attend this year? Make sure YOU enter the contest too. It's fun and you have nothing to loose!

The winner's work has been placed in the national company's archives. It is reproduced here solely for the enjoyment of the public and may not be used in any way without the express permission of the National Tap Ensemble.

Surprise,
Not all pros.


TIME STEPS
Fantastic.
Surging rhythms.
Humor.
Knowledge.
Relief --
Class well picked.



SHOW TAP
WHOA!
Pant, Pant,
Puff, Puff,
C O N C E N T R A T E.
Switch?

?
No.
Others struggle too.
And home to rest.

Then . . .

Back again.


HISTORY
Some good.
Some bad.
Hard floor.
Good info.
Rewarding overall.



THE WEEK
